I have reworked a painting, when I was not happy with it after I had it in a show and just felt it lacked something, so I worked on it some more. Now it is totally different. I will let you in on a secret. After I changed the painting, I slightly regretted it. Now I look at photos of how it used to be, and I am sorry I changed it. On the other hand, I also like this new one. Go figure !
German born, but Canadian by nationality, Karin Zeller has been a resident of Melbourne, Australia since 1993. She is self taught artist, but has attended many courses , workshops and classes over the years. Starting out in 1990, creating custom pencil portraits, she honed her skills in realistic portraiture. However, Karin always had a love of colour, and became interested in watercolour. Not long after, and still a relative beginner, she was asked to teach a beginners watercolour class with the local Art Society, where she was a member.
