Description
This acrylic painting has many layers, and evolved over time. Inspirations are my love of childhood faery tales. One of my favourite stories was the classic tale of the Little mermaid. This is the grown up fantasy of the mermaid. She was born of my love of colour and imagination. I love to play and experiment while listening to music. I never know what emerges, as I apply paint using a variety of brushes, palette knives and even apply paint with fingers. Many happy accidents and mistakes also add to the magic of what eventually emerges from the canvas. The original painting is still available for sale.
