This is my most recent version of my famous Tiger Abstract, which I painted many years ago. The now famous tiger was discovered by a pilot of the Czech airforce, who used it as tail art on a fighter jet. It took part in Nato Tiger Meet 2013 and won 2nd prize for tail art. German born, but Canadian by nationality, Karin Zeller has been a resident of Melbourne, Australia since 1993. She is self taught artist, but has attended many courses , workshops and classes over the years. Starting out in 1990, creating custom pencil portraits, she honed her skills in realistic portraiture. However, Karin always had a love of colour, and became interested in watercolour. Not long after, and still a relative beginner, she was asked to teach a beginners watercolour class with the local Art Society, where she was a member.
